World Swimming Championships: First Gold goes to Katie Ledecky
The American swimmer won, as expected, 400 freestyle women, while the equivalent of men was starring the Chinese Sun Young.
A lukewarm Sunday for the Israeli team at the championship 8 days of swimming pool greens were set off on Sunday for the World Swimming Championships in Budapest.
On the first evening, the world's best swimmer, Katie Ledecky, won her first gold medal in the 400 freestyle.

Israeli Swimmers at the arena pro swim series in Atlanta, Georgia
The arena pro swim series at Atlanta Georgia will start this Thursday. (the pool is known to many Israelis). Olympic champions such as Anthony Irwin, Adrian Nathan, Katie Ledecky , Lily King, Simon Manuel, Penny Olxiak, Ryan Murphy and Kurani Park Te Hao will participate in the four-day competition.

3 additional criteria for the World Championship at the Arena Cup
New and good age records were set this evening in the second finals appearance of the Arena Cup: Aviv Barzilai MS Misgav set a new 15-16 age record in the 200 Back 2:15.88.
Gali Zilberberg of Maccabi Re'ut set a new 16-17-18 record for the 1500 freestyle freestyle 17:15.24.
