Vikings - Season 1 Episo... _HOT_

It feels like forever since we hung out with Ragnar and his fellow Vikings in the Dark Ages, but Vikings Season 3 Episode 1 picked up pretty much where we left off. The transitions from season to season have always been flawless and this one was no exception.

The opening moments of tonight's episode were fairly creepy, I don't like hearing Lagertha mention her own death. Still, I can help but wonder if that scene is setting the tone for the entire season. Which of our favorite characters won't make it to Vikings Season 4?

Is it me or did Bjorn seem a little power hungry chatting with his father on that snowy cliff? Will he learn some humility this season? I'm betting he will, and start earning the name Bjorn Ironside. He's destined for heartache though; I have a bad feeling pregnant Porunn's days are numbered.

It must be tough for Aslaug seeing Ragnar and his ex-wife sail off together to Wessex. Though many fans dislike her, I've always felt partial to the character. She's not a bad person, Aslaug simply took opportunity (or Ragnar) by the cojones. She's a strong woman who knew what she wanted and took it. I wonder what this season has in store for her.

With Season 2 having already been wrapped, and a third season planned to be made, this is far from the end of the story for Leif and the others. Some loose plot points that we can expect to see from these seasons will likely include the penalties for the death of King Edmund at the hands of Godwin, the punishment of Jarl Olaf for his attack against Kattegat, the future of Harald and Freydis, and perhaps most importantly, the struggles for Leif to prevent himself from becoming just like his father. Tensions are sure to remain between the Pagan Vikings and the Christian Vikings as the two beliefs clash with one another, and the death of Jarl Kåre is certainly not to be the end of zealots attempting to purge the lands of the old ways and replace them with Christianity. Whatever lies in store for the characters within Vikings: Valhalla, it is sure to be bloody, violent, and exciting.

Vikings: Valhalla is an upcoming Netflix Original historical drama created by Michael Hirst and a spin-off of the popular History Channel series, Vikings. The series will be produced by MGM Productions like its predecessor which ran for six seasons.

In late November 2020 cast and crew started to post updates about wrapping production on Vikings: Valhalla after filming for four months. It is unknown how much material have they filmed and whether this is a real season one wrap or a Christmas/Covid hiatus until early 2021. 041b061a72
