Ron Darmon first Israeli Triathlete in the Olympics

Ron Darmon, the 23 year old Triathlete will compete today at the Olympic triathlon race in Rio, Brazil. Darmon is the first Triathlete to represent Israel in the Olympic Games making national history. For the past few years he has been training in Australia, with a professional Triathlon team coached by Warwick Dalziel for this purpose exactly. Darmon is among 55 Triathletes, representing a total of 31 countries. The Olympic Triathlon is composed of swimming (1.5 Km) in open water, a bike leg of 40km and 10km run to finish it up.
