88 records were set in the Israeli Masters Swimming Championships

About 450 male and female swimmers from 36 associations participated this weekend in the Israel Arena Masters Championship in short pools held at the national pool at the Wingate Institute. No less than 88 age records were broken in the competition - 75 personal records and 13 relay records.


The competition was of the highest quality and was characterized by a large number of swimmers, most of them young, who came for the first time to compete in the Masters event.

Ori's Sela Water World

Four performances took place during Friday-Saturday in the age categories between 21 and 90. Igor Karabkov broke five records, Anya Gustamalski, Olga Pasmani, Gershon Shefa and Anat Banshefi broke four records each.


The Maccabi Water World team won the men's team cup, Aquatikim won second place and Maccabi Haifa third. Maccabi Water World also completed a double by winning the women's team cup, Maccabi Kfar HaMaccabia won second place and Aquatics in third place. In the general ranking.



Thanks to the chairman of the masters committee, Guy Shmueli, to the team of judges, to the team of organizers, to the male and female swimmers and their families who came to cheer.
